REGIONAL OFFICE-UTTARAKHAND

The Sub Regional Office of Employees Provident Fund Organisation (Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India) at Dehradun in Uttar Pradesh was sanctioned with effect from 28/05/1986 with the aim of providing the facilities at the doorstep of members/employers. It was opened for extending better services to the members of Employees Provident Fund Scheme and Family Pension Scheme and also to extend proper guidance to the Employer s for timely compliance under the provisions of the EPF & MP Act, 1952. At the initial stage records in respect of district Dehradun and other districts of Garhwal region were shifted to Sub Regional Office, Dehradun from Regional Office, Kanpur. The records shifted to Sub Regional Office, Dehradun from Sub Regional Office, Meerut on 1st October, 1990.

The new Uttarakhand State was politically formed on 9th November, 2000 with thirteen districts. On the formation of new Uttarakhand State the Sub Regional Office of Employees Provident Fund Organisation in Dehradun was upgraded and the Regional Office, Dehradun came in existence vide order No. HRM-1/2(1)2001/6185 dated 08/05/2001 of the Central Provident Fund Commissioner, New Delhi.

THE OFFICE LOCATION

The Regional Office of Employees Provident Fund Organisation is located in the heart of Dehradun city, the capital of newly formed state Uttarakhand. Presently, it is functioning in our own building at Vyomprastha, G.M. S. Road, Dehradun.

JURISDICTION OF RO-UTTARAKHAND

The Uttarakhand Region of Employees Provident Fund Organisation consists of two offices viz. The Regional Office  Dehradun and the Sub Regional Office, Haldwani. These two offices cover all the thirteen districts of Uttarakhand as detailed below:-
